This dream concerned one of the kids who had just started driving. It was a morning dream as many times they are. In this dream Lisa had gotten a traffic ticket of some kind. The problem was that instead of going to court and taking defensive driving she was just going to pay the ticket which would have gone on her driving record. When I woke up I spoke to my wife Joni and we agreed to bring it up that evening at dinner time as Lisa would be there.
At dinner that night I brought the dream up to Lisa and then explained to her that if she ever got a ticket that she needed to try to take defensive driving instead of just paying the ticket. She said okay and went back eating. In my mind I had done what I felt I needed to do but my wife wasn’t done just yet. She asked, “Lisa, did you get a ticket?” She answered that she had. Joni then asked, “When do you have to go to court?” Lisa answered, “Tomorrow.” My wife has great instincts when dealing with the kids. I guess that’s why God put us together. She is the woman of my dreams. Literally.
The bottom line was that God had given me a dream that helped out one of the kids. It wasn’t a big deal but it should show all of us that God wants to be involved in our everyday lives, not just the big moments.
My goal is to show people who don’t know Jesus that He truly is real and that He wants to know them on a personal basis. I am not a full time minister. I am a plant worker, nobody special, who loves Jesus and am grateful to Him for setting me free. I do have a minister’s license but I was having dreams long before I had this license. My wife Joni has had her own dreams as well. If God will give Joni and I dreams to help us in life why wouldn’t He do the same for you? The question is; “Have you ever asked God to give you a dream? Find a quiet place, turn off your smart phone and television and ask God to reveal Himself to you.
Hebrews 11:6 says, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for He who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Choose Jesus! Choose Life!
